SPIRIT RIVER KINETTE HOLE IN ONE TOURNEY 2009
Just wanted to share with fellow Kin, our service project that we have become very proud of. Our tournament has grown immensely over the years with our community and Kin support.
We were fortunate to have with us our Governor and past member Terri McMillan, members of Stampede City Kinsmen. St Alberta Kinsmen, Edmonton Kinettes, Leduc Kinettes and our very own the Grande Prairie Kin Club.
A good time was had by all, we have our usual group that dresses up and then at the end decided to go for a dip in the course pool. Gentlemen that entertained all, as he played his guitar and sang in between holes of golf, not many can boast about that. We were happy to have a sunny filled day of laughter, and good time was had by all and better yet…….everyone goes home with a prize!!
This year even though we haven’t quite got our numbers in, we range in profit from 13 – 16,000. Not bad for six members……..Thanks to all!!! ……….Don‘t stop believing!!!

Nine Leduc Kinettes started off the day with a 90 minute service project, which was painting at the food bank. It went well. The homemade soup, bread and pie at the President Jodi's house finished off the afternoon nicely.
Seven Leduc Kinettes ended of the day by attending the Edmonton Kinette's CF fundraising event at Schanks. We bowled, bid on a few items, and won a few prizes.

The club booked a larger venue for this year, and it was a good thing because it was full. This was the second LNO these ladies put together and it was a fabulous night. There were fellow Kinette's from both Claresholm and Lethbridge. I am excited to see what they do for next year!
