Hello, my name is Trisha and its been a wild ride so far. I joined Kin because I wanted to meet new people as I had just moved to Brooks. I also wanted to volunteer and give back. It is 12 years since I joined the Brooks Kinettes and it has been great. I have gained friends but I have also gained so much more. We may be a small club but we do a lot of things for the community such as the Terry Fox Run, wrapping presents for the Smiles for Christmas campaign that happens annually, and selling bacon that allows us to raise money to give back. Looking forward to getting out to the different clubs and seeing what inspires you.
On a personal note I have been married for 12 years and have a 9 year old son. On one of our Mexico trips, my husband pushed me to go parasailing, it was thrilling and so much fun. One day I would love to go to Turks & Caicos.
