Join us in celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund Toy Run on Saturday, September 12, 2026!
The Santa Claus Fund Toy Run has been a proud annual tradition since 1986, taking place on the second Saturday of September each year.
Since 2017, the Kinsmen Club of Medicine Hat has proudly supported the Toy Run by preparing and serving hamburgers to approximately 700 motorcyclists, their families, and friends who participate in this incredible community event.
The ride begins at the Irvine Hotel in Irvine, Alberta, and finishes at Higdon Hall at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Grounds. When riders arrive around noon, Kinsmen volunteers fire up their custom community barbecue trailer and serve hundreds of burgers in approximately one hour.
