The District 4 Kin Foundation was incorporated as the District 4 Kinsmen Foundation in 1987, and in 2004, the name was changed to District 4 Kin Foundation. The Foundation has been assisting and supporting clubs in District 4 in meeting their local community’s greatest needs ever since.

The District 4 Kin Foundation is an official charitable organization of Kin Canada that assists clubs by providing income tax receipts to donors who voluntarily donate towards the club’s service project(s) in District 4. Communities and local charities in District 4, from north to south, directly benefit from the services provided by the District 4 Kin Foundation.

The District 4 Kin Foundation can support the generosity of individuals throughout our communities in supporting clubs in District 4 to continue to enhance lives of others through their community work by assisting communities and local charities to; send kids to camp where kids can be kids, building parks for the enjoyment of all families, providing food and clothing for those in need during hard times, assisting inner city seniors and providing the funds needed for research in finding a cure for diseases such as Cystic Fibrosis and Cancer. These clubs, through their projects, are making a difference in the lives of many in District 4.

Each year, the District 4 Kin Foundation holds its Annual General Meeting at the District Convention. The Board is made up of members from District 4 who volunteer their time to administer the Foundation throughout the Kin year. It is made up of a team of dedicated individuals who contribute to the Foundation's success.
